GNOME-compliance patches for CTWM

Here are my patches to make CTWM work with GNOME. This is for GNOME 1.x.
Please note: GNOME 2.x and KDE use a different standard for communicating with the window manager, so this version of ctwm will not work properly with those environments. I hope to implement this new standard eventually.

Although I can't promise that ctwm is stable with these patches, they work well for me, and I now use the gnome pager rather than the ctwm workspace manager and icon managers. If you have problems, suggestions, requests or comments, please email me: nhd+ctwmg@andrew.cmu.edu

The changes to the source.

Note that to build ctwm, you need to use xmkmf to create the Makefile - there is no configure script. You do not need to have gnome installed or running to use these patches, but you won't gain any features if you don't use gnome.
